Dr. Gerve started his trip to the US in Miami, where he spent some quality time with his family. Then the first official stop was to Rochester, MN. Here he helped with the annual fundraiser and spoke to donors.
The dinner pictures were from a Haitian dinner, presentation and Haiti Bazaar at Orchard Park on September 29th. Dr. Gerve was also able to spend time with Dr. Chelsey, observing a robotic surgery and on another day observing consultations.
Dr. Gerve Travels to the United States
The gallery of pictures below are just some of the lovely items that were available for purchase, where all funds went directly to PFC. We are also working to get a video of Dr. Gerve speaking to the donors uploaded to our site.
Dr. Chelsey has been to Haiti performing surgery at the hospital in Mombin Crochu and participated in women's health screenings in Bwadlawrence with Dr. Renaud and nurse Becky.
Dr. Chelsey has been to Haiti Dr. Gerve also got to spend time relaxing, fishing, sharing stories from Haiti, and strategizing with the board.
$100,000 will fund annual clinic operations. $23,500 will finish the new clinic build. The remaining $26,500 will be used to purchase air conditioning units, a generator, security fence, linens, filing cabinets, chairs, tables, desks, and batteries for the clinic.
